Tests and analyzes sample products.

Records, and maintains test results and the records thereof and writes test reports for internal or external purposes.
Assists in research to develop custom products and to provide technical support and training to sales, manufacturing, and management on existing or new products.
Assists in determination of product formulations as necessary for product specification compliance.
To prepare technical reports and correspond with customers on product complaints, technical or application issues
To provide training / presentation to clients, colleagues as required.
Adhere to strict safety standards
Manage laboratory activities in an efficient, safe, and productive manner
Cleans, maintains, and calibrates laboratory instruments and equipment.
Recommends measures to improve testing procedures and use of equipment.
Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet testing schedule requirements.
To visit consumers to promote products and engage with them on technical or application difficulties.
Performs other duties as required or assigned.

Have basic knowledge of Chemistry/ Polymer Science. Knowledge of cement chemistry is preferable.
A basic knowledge of formulating products for the construction market, with an emphasis on cementitious products.
A fundamental knowledge of standardized testing for building products.

Post Graduate degree in Chemistry or Engineering (Civil or Chemical) with a specialization in Polymer
Required and Preferred Experience and Industry-Specific Experience:
Min. 2 year to 4 years’ experience in formulating construction related products preferably cementitious products
