Job Description

Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and onboard vendors/suppliers capable of
providing high-quality materials and services required for project execution.
Maintain strong relationships with existing vendors and explore new partnerships to
ensure a diverse and reliable supply chain
- Procurement Planning: Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to
understand project requirements and develop comprehensive procurement plans.
Forecast material needs, anticipate potential supply chain disruptions, and
implement strategies to mitigate risks
- Negotiation: Conduct negotiations with vendors to secure favorable terms and
pricing agreements while maintaining quality standards. Drive cost-saving initiatives
and optimize procurement processes to enhance efficiency and reduce expenses
- Purchase Process/ Execution: Oversee the procurement process, including issuing
purchase orders, monitoring order status, and expediting deliveries to meet project
timelines. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless integration of
purchased materials into project workflows

Compliance and Documentation: Ensure compliance with company policies, industry
regulations, and legal requirements throughout the procurement process. Maintain
accurate records of purchase transactions, contracts, and vendor communications
for audit and reporting purposes
- Supplier Performance Evaluation: Monitor vendor performance and adherence to
contractual agreements, quality standards, and delivery schedules. Implement
performance metrics and conduct periodic assessments to identify areas for
improvement and drive supplier accountability
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and
best practices in procurement and supply chain management. Identify opportunities
for process optimization, automation, and cost reduction, and drive initiatives to
enhance procurement effectiveness and efficiency

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Bachelor's degree/ Diploma in Engineering field
 Proven experience of 5-7 years in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain
management, preferably within the chemical manufacturing industry
 Strong negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain effective vendor
relationships
 Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
 Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate
cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels
 Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and compliance
 Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities in
a fast-paced environment
